Abstract

This paper describes the application of a ZVS PWM converter for a full audio band amplifier implementation. A prototype amplifier operated with a switching frequency of 1.41 MHz has been built. Its superior switching, efficiency, distortion, and frequency response characteristics make it potentially suitable for digital power amplifier implementation.
