Abstract

WiMedia compliant Ultra-Wideband signals are transmitted in a low cost Radio over Fiber system over extended distances to 900m. Measured packet error rate shows the merit of UWB transmission and extension in the ROF medium. Significant range extension has been demonstrated using ROF. ©2007 IEEE.
