Abstract

This paper presents a wideband patch antenna fed by a modified L probe. The antenna has impedance bandwidth of 21% (SWR <2) and cross polarization level of less than -15 dB across the operating bandwidth. The antenna has a gain of 8.5 dBi. Both simulated and experimental results are provided, and they are in good agreement. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
