Abstract

A wideband circularly polarized (CP) antenna using the partially shared magneto-electric (ME) dipole structure is proposed for the in-band full-duplex (IBFD) application. The CP sense for transmitting (Tx) and receiving (Rx) are the same, and both are right-hand circular polarization (RHCP). The CP operation for Tx or Rx is formed by two orthogonally placed Γ-shaped feed lines and their excitation with the same amplitude and the 90° phase difference introduced by the feed network. The operating bandwidth is from 2.01 GHz to 2.66 GHz. The radiation patterns for the Tx and Rx ports are broadside and nearly uniform. These features can satisfy the requirement for future wireless communication. © 2024 IEEE.
