Abstract

A new total least squares (TLS) technique for linear prediction based on a whitening procedure is presented. This technique can solve the problems due to the bias inherent in the prefiltered TLS solution so as to give good performance over a wide range of SNRs, thereby outperforming common TLS solutions.
