Weak Signals and Strong Paradigms in an Altruistic Economy

Abstract

This paper presents a number of emerging issues that drive the birth and growth of an altruistic economy through the emergence of the practice and study of social entrepreneurship and innovation. It highlights a number of key challenges that social entrepreneurship and innovation brings to the commercial entrepreneurship. A number of exemplary social entrepreneurial ideas were discussed for illustrations.
