Abstract
The frequency dependence of the first molecular hyperpolarizability of a dendrimer associated with thiopene-stibene based charge transfer chromphore was discussed. Laser excitations wavelengths from 1160 to 1907 nm were applied from an optical amplifier for measuring β HRS of the monomer chromophore. The structure of the Nonlinear Optical Chromophore (NLO) differed by having an additional phenyl ring in the dendrimer. The experimental results were compared with with the calculated charge transfer by Kramers-Kronig transformations, which provided a good account of dispersion of the first molecular hyperpolarizability of a dendrimer over the exitation wavelength measured.
