Abstract
We demonstrate an in-line fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer coated with the metal-organic framework ZIF-8 for volatile organic gas recognition. The ZIF-8 coating can absorb different gases and cause significant shifts of the interference fringes of the MZI.
