Visible supercontinuum generation via x(2) and x(3) nonlinearities in highly doped silica glass waveguides

Abstract

We demonstrate the visible supercontinuum generation with emissions of trichromatic lights (red, green and blue) in the slotted highly doped silica glass waveguides which offer extra symmetry-breaking induced x(2) beyond the intrinsic x(3) nonlinearities. © Optica Publishing Group 2025 © 2025 The Author(s)
