Abstract
This paper takes issue with the unprincipled manner in which corporate personality is occasionally disregarded and suggests that the Supreme Court's decision in Prest v Petrodel [2013] UKSC 34 offers an opportunity to place this area of company law on a sounder theoretical basis.
