Abstract
Use of output feedback in controlling a singular system is considered in this note. Specifically, recent theoretical results developed by authors for regularizing a singular system with added constraints are concisely reviewed. These mathematical findings lead to a procedure of constructing PD feedback controllers for regularity of the closed-loop system.
