Abstract
A review of Hong Kong artist Lo Lai Lai's solo exhibition "The Days Before the Silent Spring," held from December 15, 2020 to January 15, 2021 at WMA, Hong Kong. The review discusses the contexts and contents of Lo's farming, socially engaged, and ecologically concerned practices, how the artist reflects on these experiences through her art, as well as the ethics of employing optical devices and digital media in representing the Anthropocene landscape.
