Abstract

We demonstrated the supramolecular homodimerization of semifluorinated dipolar aromatics to self-assemble electro-optic dendrimers. The self-assembled dendritic films showed large electro-optic coefficients (248 pm/V) and excellent temporal stability (>95%) after 1000 h.
