Abstract

A two-stage nonlinear combiner in L-diversity code-division multiple-access (CDMA) system over frequency non-selective Rayleigh fading channels with impulse noise is presented. Analysis and simulation show that the new nonlinear combiner can jointly suppress the impulse noise, the multiple-access interference, and the fading, and provide a near single-user performance. © 1997 IEEE
