Abstract
In this work, we fabricated a series of severely distorted high-entropy Elinvar alloys through micro-alloying of (CoNi)50-x(TiZrHf)50Fex (in atomic percentage). Through carefully designed experiments, we demonstrate a tunable Elinvar effect that is positively correlated with overall lattice distortion in single-phase B2 high entropy alloys. Finally, we propose a simple physical model that captures the general trend of our experimental findings. © 2023 Author(s).
