Abstract

Time-domain Green's function were obtained for the source of magnetic dipole (HMD) in multilayered structures using inverse fast fourier transform. Comparison of numerical results was done with those of rigorous solutions obtained by the Cagniard-de Hoop method. The spectral domain Green's functions were firstly transformed into spatial domain. Full wave image theory was used to avoid the Sommerfeld integration in the transformation from spectral frequency domain to space frequency domain.
