Abstract

In this paper, we present new call admission control schemes, the thinning schemes, which smoothly reduce the traffic admission rates. Performance analysis is carried out and new analytical results are obtained. It demonstrates that the thinning schemes can be used to derive many known call admission control schemes. © 2003, IEEE.
