Abstract
The effects of the geometry of fabrics on their behaviour were considered. Mathematical models of woven fabric geometry were also examined. Because of the interaction of yarn configuration in a fabric with the physical and mechanical properties of warp and weft yarns, it was not always possible to distinguish geometrical models from geometrical-mechanical and mechanical models. Equations for the calculation of geometrical parameters were developed.
