Abstract

This paper reports the findings of a study that analyzes the statistical techniques used in articles published in the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly (CQ) in the period 2018 Q3-2020 Q2. Thirty-two articles used 129 statistical techniques; average 3.875 different statistical techniques have been applied to 1 paper. We identified 37 different statistical techniques, grouped into 13 categories. Regression and descriptive statistics were the most commonly used techniques, following ANOVA/MANOVA. This article is aimed at increasing the understanding of statistical techniques used in the latest Hospitality Research, using CQ as a case study.
