Abstract

This paper explores the linkage between sustainable supply chain (SSC) and business performance by considering the effect of the entire supply chain. The paper proposes that SSC comprises three dimensions, that is, inbound sustainability, internal sustainability, and outbound sustainability. By integrating the three dimensions of sustainable supply chain, the entire supply chain is expected to contribute to business performance, and integration with both the supplier and customer is expected to enhance such contribution.
