Abstract

Kansei Engineering is a consumer-oriented technology for ergonomics product development and has been successfully implemented by many companies around the world. Sandals are one of the most popular footwear for teenagers. In the market, there are many different kinds of sandals designed for various purposes such as beach sandals, health sandals, fashion sandals, etc. With the increasing demands of fashion sandals from teenagers, in this study, the fashion sandals were targeted and Kansei Engineering was applied to study the relationship between the requirements of fashion sandals and the desirable product features.
