Abstract
The compound structure of Chen's attractor was investigated. The structure was obtained by merging together two simple attractors after performing a mirror operation. Nonlinear differential equations that describe Chen's attractor were used to investigate the compound structure. The forming procedure of Chen's attractor was also investigated.
