Abstract

A latest chaotic attractor connecting the Lorentz and Chen attractors was coined and investigated. The compound structure of this attractor was studied and its forming mechanism was explored. The abundant and complex dynamical behaviors of this attractor may contribute to a better understanding of all similar and closely related choatic systems.
