Abstract
The book brings together Yuk Hui's political writings on the rise of neo-reactionism, the end of the Enlightenment, the future of cosmopolitanism, post-pandemic politics and planetary thinking. The analysis is based on a historical, anthropological and philosophical examination of the question of technology, which opens up a completely new perspective. Hui proposes the notion of technodiversity by questioning the current way of understanding technology as anthropological and universal, and argues for a multiplicity of cosmotechnics that expresses different technological experiences that are culturally and cosmologically situated. The rediscovery of historically traceable and still productive technodiversity is a key task for questioning the ontological and epistemological assumptions of modern technologies and their limits. Hui's analysis proposes an updated understanding of technology in the Anthropocene and planetary politics beyond technological planetaryization.
