Abstract
In this paper, it is to apply genetic programming to explore some new chaotic systems. Based on a tree representation, each function in the state dynamical equation of a chaotic system can be well defined. Thus, through the optimization process governed by genetic programming, it is demonstrated that some new potential forms can be determined, for which chaotic systems are obtained by having tuning of the coefficients. © 2010 IEEE.
