Abstract

The solid-state structure of a tetranuclear mixed-metal cluster CpWOs3(CO)9(μ-O)(μ-H)(μ-CHTol) (2) which possesses a bridging hydride, a bridging oxo and a bridging tolylalkylidene ligand is presented. Complex 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 , with a = 9.763(5), b = 10.759(4), c = 13.336(3) Å, α = 88.00(3), β = 108.56(3), γ = 100.44(3)°, Z = 2 ; 3463 observed reflections with I > 3σ(I) were used in the refinement. The R values converged to RF = 0.057, Rw = 0.058.
