Abstract
The constant discussion on sustainability is a consequence of the continuous communication of environmental problems between different social systems; since its causes are not disconnected, both from economic development, and from the sociocultural approach in which education is immersed. This document briefly analyze the social evolution regarding sustainability and environmental education, these concepts are addressed within organizations and, specifically, in universities through institutional or business programs using the management of communicative propagation as a tool of knowledge and environmental culture.
