Abstract
A study has been conducted to identify the quality dimensions in the Asian Telecommunications Satellite Transponder Leasing Industry. The study results facilitate the establishment of quality improvement programs as well as other competitive business strategies in the industry. This paper presents the four-step approach used in the study, which collects customers' comments for use in determining quality dimensions and also in linking customers' perception of the importance of those dimensions. The four-step approach is as follows: Industry analysis Focus-group study Critical-incident customer interview Mass questionnaire survey
