N2 - Flow regime, void fraction, rising velocity of slug bubble and frictional pressure loss were measured for an air-water two-phase flow in a small diameter tube of 4mm inside diameter. A good agreement was obtained between the transition boundaries of observed flow regimes and the predictions by Mishima-Ishii's equations. The void fraction was correlated well by the drift flux equation as an existing correlation with the value of 1.2 for the distribution parameter. The rising velocity of the slug bubble was also correlated well by the drift flux equations. The frictional pressure loss was correlated well by the Chisholm's equations.
