Abstract

In this paper, a new method for controlling chaos is proposed, which is based on the parameter switching modulation. The chaotic Chua's circuit is controlled to its fixed point as well as nP periodic orbits by using switching modulation on one of its capacitor parameters. Experimental results of numerical simulation and circuit simulation have demonstrated that this method of chaos control is effective. Due to this method of controlling chaos the engineering application methods of Chua's circuit becomes richer.
