Abstract

Storied Blue House transports visitors into the living memories of Hong Kong’s iconic Blue House heritage site. This immersive installation merges panoramic photography with generative AI to visualize not only the personal narratives of longtime residents, but also new interpretations offered by today’s visitors. Developed through collaborative storytelling workshops, the exhibition surfaces stories of vibrant street life, neighborhood rituals, and local figures like kung fu masters to a legendary street cat. Visitors don’t just observe; they actively participate by contributing prompts and reflections that generate real-time visual interpretations within the 360° environment.
