Abstract

'Spectre Knows' is featured in the exhibition, "Alternate Realities" as part of the Sheffield Doc/Fest. The interactive installation was featured at the Site Gallery, in Sheffield, UK from June 6-11, 2019. Spectre (aka 'Spectre') is an interactive installation that explores the power of the Digital Influence Industry (targeted advertising, behavior psychology, election influencing, etc.) With the help of 'deep-fake' celebrities including Mark Zuckerberg, Marcel Duchamp, Marina Abramović, and Freddie Mercury, Spectre tells a cautionary tale of technology, democracy and society, curated by algorithms and powered by visitors’ data.
