Abstract

This paper intr duces an optimal fuzzy Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) ontr oiler for a solar pwer plant. The fuzzy PID controller is a discrete-time version of the conventional PID contr oiler, which pnserves the same linear structur eof the proportional, integral, and derivative parts but has constant coefficient, self-tuned contr ol gains. The constant PID control gains and other contr ol p arametersnre optimized by using the multiobjective Generic A Igorithm(GA), thereby yielding an optimal fuzzy PID controller.
