Abstract

We review recent work using integrated and fibered platforms for advanced optical processing techniques. We show that machine learning in photonics systems can be leveraged to generate custom optical wave-packets relevant for targeted applications. © Optica Publishing Group 2023. © 2023 The Author(s).
