Abstract
This paper presents a small patch antenna with a folded patch feed and double shorting walls. In order to further enhance the impedance bandwidth, an additional aperture is introduced on the upper patch. The proposed antenna exhibits a measured impedance bandwidth of more than 70% for VSWR ≤ 2. It is applicable to modern wireless applications.
