    Abstract

Sentiment analysis is a method to mine people’s opinions and emotions from text information. Recently years, a lot research work on opinion mining was carried out on subjective text types such as product reviews and user forums. The goal of sentiment analysis is to identify the opinion orientation of people on products, service, brand, or public figures. The main difference project dialogues have with subjective texts are (a) the targets of project dialogues are not unique as different issues can be raised in text, whereas the target of subjective texts is clearly defined and unique across text. (b) a large portion of the sentences of project dialogues are factual statements. This paper proposed a sentiment analysis process model to solve the challenges of analyzing project dialogues. The result of sentiment analysis helps project managers to elicit the focus of project with its sentiment orientation.
