Abstract

Chaos-based secure communication has been an attractive topic recently. In this paper, the techniques of secure communication based on chaotic synchronization are reviewed, including the schemes of modulating the message signal and the chaotic signal, the approaches of synchronization between the chaotic transmitter and the chaotic receiver, and the security analysis of the communication. Discussion on future studies is carried out.
