Scaffolding Student Learning: Integrating ePortfolios into the University Experience

Since January 2007, City University of Hong Kong has been running Stage Two of an ‘Electronic Learning Portfolio’ project focusing on the integration of ePortfolios within activities and courses of different disciplines covering 1000 undergraduates. ePortfolio content analysis revealed students encountering difficulties with certain dimensions of reflective thinking prompting the project investigators to create techniques for scaffolding student reflection.
