Abstract
The synthesis of resonance Raman spectra of boron carbonitride (BCN) by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) was investigated. While the intensity of the G and G' bands increases as Elaser increases and saturates at E laser=2.67 eV, the intensity of the D band was found to be insensitive to the laser excitation energy. It was observed that particular resonant effects were revealed in both the intensity of the G and G' bands and the dispersive effects of D-related bands. The results showed that there are special electronic and phonon structures in BCN nanotubes.
