Abstract
In a previous report Schulson commented on a recently published paper on 'Hydrogen-Boron Interaction and its Effect on the Ductility and Fracture of Ni3Al'. Schulson made three points: grain boundaries in Ni-rich Ni3Al are enriched in Ni, whereas those in stoichiometric Ni3Al are not; B increases Ni-enrichment; and embrittlement is due to an attack by hydrogen on Ni-enriched gain boundaries. The present report further provides proofs that Schulson's claims are not as accurate as they seem.
