Abstract

Based on the concept of complementary antenna or Huygen's source antenna, the magneto-electric dipole was invented to serve the development of wireless communication technologies. This type of wideband antenna has advantages of low cross polarization, high efficiency, symmetric radiation patterns, stable gain and beam width over the operating band. Recent advancement on UWB and millimeter wave applications is summarized in this presentation. © 2013 EurAAP.
