Abstract

Correction to: Communications Earth & Environment https://doi.org/10.1038/s43247-024-01329-3, published online 05 April 2024

In the original version of this Article, the title, which had been suggested by the editorial team, was ambiguous, and given as ‘Radiative forcing geoengineering causes higher risk of wildfires and permafrost thawing over the Arctic regions’. To remove ambiguity, the title has now been changed to ‘Radiative forcing geoengineering under high CO2 levels leads to higher risk of Arctic wildfires and permafrost thaw than a targeted mitigation scenario’. This has been corrected in both the PDF and HTML versions of the Article. © The Author(s) 2024.
