Abstract

This paper focuses on the implications from changes in labor productivity for a state's economy. A large scale simulation model for Minnesota is utilized to determine whether the economic structure of the state has any influence on the degree to which changes in labor productivity affect growth. Further, we intend to discuss the strengths of using such a mathematically deterministic simulation approach for analyzing the implications from the Kaldorian model for regional economies demonstrating differing industrial structures. -Authors
