Abstract

In this paper, a suspended stripline (SSL) bandpass filters using novel resonant cell and NRN is proposed. The novel resonant cell consist of a section of hybrid transmission line, a short-end and an open-end. The performances of the resonant cell is analyzed clearly. Moreover, two transmission zeros can be introduced to this filter by using the new NAN. A detailed discussion of this effect is given, and this filter is designed, fabricated and tested. Experimental results agree well with the simulations.
