Abstract
The nonlinear dynamical period-one oscillation of a semiconductor laser under a modulated optical injection is numerically investigated for photonic generation of frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) signals. The sweep range and sweep rate of the generated FMCW signals are both tunable.
