Abstract
The mechanical properties of bulk nanostructured metals at cryogenic temperatures were analyzed. The materials were produced by severe plastic deformation (SPD), using equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) followed by cold rolling. The engineering stress-strain curves of nanostructured Copper were also presented. It was found that this plastic instability problem was alleviated at liquid-nitrogen temperature (77K) for the same ECAP Copper.
