Abstract

The photoluminescent properties of two dinuclear cyclometallated Pt(II) complexes, [Pt2L12(μ-dppm)]2+ 1 and [Pt2L22(μ-dppm]2+ 2, in SDS micellar solution are studied and 1 is found to undergo enhancement of luminescence as well as switching of emissive states upon incorporation into SDS micelle.
