Abstract
The open-ended waveguide antenna (OEWGA) has many applications. However, in some cases, the OEWGA with non-standard dimensions is required but a tailor-made OEWGA can be very expensive. This problem may be overcome by fabricating the OEWGA using the Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology. In this paper, a 60-GHz OEWGA fabricated using the AM technology is presented. Its reflection coefficient, radiation pattern, and antenna gain are studied numerically and experimentally. The OEWGA has a wide operation band and stable antenna gain across the entire band of interest.
