Abstract
A dual band-notched ultra-wideband (UWB) slot antenna fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW) is presented in this paper. The CPW feed is designed for 50 ohms, and notched bands are centered at 5.8GHz WLAN and 8.0GHz X bands by inserting a pair of slots in the radiation patch. The proposed antenna has a small size of 25240.787mm 3, and the relatively stable omnidirectional radiation pattern over the entire frequency have been obtained. © 2012 IEEE.
