Abstract
A dual-band bandpass filter with high selectivity is presented. Using only a single set of asymmetric stepped-impedance resonators, this filter can create five transmission zeros near the passband edges and between the two passbands to improve the selectivity. Based on the proposed idea, a microstrip dual-band bandpass filter is implemented. © 2009 The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
